Just a few notes about this weeks gathering.
As many of you are aware the Band of Brothers was asked by the Sundancer
committee to donate a wheelbarrow of spirits to be off at the Sundancer as a
fundraiser for the OLF church and school. When we did this last year some
guys donated monetarily and others donated a bottle of spirits, either is
acceptable and donations will be accepted for the next few weeks.
The Band of Brothers will again be leading the Rosary before every Mass during
the last weekend of October. Leading the Rosary before our Parish is a
great opportunity to honor Our Lady and I ask that each of discern if you are
being called to do just that. Volunteers will be needed before the 5:00
p.m. Mass that Saturday as well as the 7:00, 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. Masses
on Sunday. Please contact me if you are being called to do this.
Those men who are interested in putting together the agenda for the November
Mens Retreat are asked to meet after the Band of Bros. meeting this Saturday to
plan this. Positions that need filled are meal coordinator, group
coordinator, music coordinator, liturgy coordinator, prayer coordinator, etc.
