We may have the opportunity to help with this ministry when it moves to St. Bernadette's. I'd like to get a preliminary indication of interest to see if it is worth pursuing, so if this speaks to your heart, please email me to let me know of your tentative interest. There are a lot of details to be determined still, but if we have enough interest, I will continue to pursue it with Catholic Charities. It may also be a good ministry for those of us who have teenagers as well.
Please contact me if you think you might be interested.
Thanks for your prayerful consideration.

Saturday, May 7 - Peter: Cornerstone of Catholicism Session 9 - Peter Bar Jonah
In
session 9 this week, we realize Peter was raised to be a faithful Jew.
“In the light of Jesus’ teaching, however, he has to reconsider numerous
things he once thought settled. For example, the Temple was expected to
last forever, but Jesus prophesied it destruction. The Messiah was
expected to unshackle the Jews from Roman slavery and reestablish the kingdom
of David, but instead, Jesus offered freedom from slavery to sin and an eternal
Kingdom greater than David’s. Instead of the glory of a throne, Jesus was
glorified on a Cross. Now, as the head of the Church, Peter will be led b
y Jesus to the city of Joppa, where he will yet again be called to reconsider
and deepen his understanding.”
“So then, brethren stand firm and hold to
the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by
letter.”
-2 Thessalonians 2:25
